Your customer’s vehicle repairs are guaranteed when they’re carried out at a Volkswagen Group UK Paint and Body Centre*.
Once all of the work has been completed on a customers car by an Approved repairer, every customer is sent an Authenticity Guarantee which confirms that the work, methods, parts and paint are approved by Volkswagen Group UK. Therefore complying with the customers Personal Contract Hire or Personal Contract Purchase terms and conditions, if applicable.
Built-in best practice
The Accident Core Process is followed by all our Paint and Body Centres. It contains detailed instructions on the seven key stages involved in effectively managing the vehicle repair process.
This includes guidance for both customer-facing and non-customer facing staff within the bodyshop, and covers every step from the initial customer contact to post-repair follow-up.
We can take full ownership of the work carried out, because we know that our network’s processes are being diligently delivered and managed through the standard tools, methodologies and protocols defined and provided by Volkswagen Group.

We have very high standards in our network of Approved Repairers, which is why any customer with a Personal Contract Hire (PCH) or Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) taken through Volkswagen Financial Services must use a Volkswagen Group UK approved Paint and Body Centre in the unfortunate event of their vehicle needing paint or body work. Volkswagen Financial Services is one of the largest fleet, hire and service plan providers in the UK, covering Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, CUPRA, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Bentley, Porsche and MAN.
Personal Contract Hire (PCH) clause 9.4.5 - "You agree to: make sure that all accident damage repairs are carried out at paint and bodywork shops authorised by us"
Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) - clause 4.2 - "You agree that we may act as your agent to negotiate , enforce and agree to any insurance claim for loss or damage to the Vehicle . All money payable under the insurance policy is assigned by this Agreement by you to us . The benefit of any money paid out under the insurance, which is not attributable to the loss or damage to the Vehicle or monies due under this Agreement shall be notified and made available to you. You authorise us to give the insurer a receipt for the insurance money."
*Guarantees offer comprehensive warranties for customers who have received a Volkswagen Group approved repair to their vehicle when:
- Only new Volkswagen Group genuine parts were fitted to the vehicle during the repair
- Only Volkswagen Group approved paints were used during the repair
- Only Volkswagen Group methods were used to carry out the repair
The guarantee covers:
- 36 months workmanship on completed work
- 24 months parts warranty (standard for our genuine parts)
- 36 months paint warranty on completed paintwork
