Ahead of its world debut later this month, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has published new sketches of the fifth generation Caddy.

One important feature of the passenger car variant is the panoramic glass roof, which is largest in this segment. The new Caddy’s design sketches show off a shorter wheelbase which gives a sporty slim appearance, when in fact it is broader and taller than its predecessor. These are signs that the new model is launching with the aim of being the benchmark in its class.
At the same time more driver assistance systems than ever before find their way into the compact van class. The new Caddy is ‘always connected’, meaning it becomes its own internet hub, providing real-time information on wheels.
Both the van and passenger carrying versions of the new Caddy will make their world debut in February 2020. Keep an eye on Hub for details.
