In 2018 we invested in a new standards portal, and a programme for pre-scheduling training that gave Bodyshop Managers more time to focus on day to day operations.
You may have come to our seminar last January, where we showcased new vehicles, revealed the latest technology and demonstrated the latest in repair requirements. This event was attended by over 250 repairers, insurers and other industry enthusiasts over four weeks, and we’re running it again for 2019.
We’re currently investing in additional new standards for electric vehicles, which will come into effect from 2020. We’re also working on ADAS repair and recalibration, increased specialist support for aluminium and multi-material repairs, and ways to increase and grow our partnerships within the insurance industry.
Finally, we’re increasing support for non-bodyshop retailers, helping them to carry out low-impact non-structural repairs; and looking at ways to optimise efficiency through employee training, triaging and reducing cycle times.
Our vision is to be indispensable to insurers and the default choice of customers as the only network that can correctly repair Volkswagen Group vehicles; and to lead the automotive industry in the delivery of technical and commercial body repair solutions.
